    Summary

    The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB) is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as a Budget Analyst.

    This Job Opportunity Announcement (JOA) may be used to fill other Budget Analyst, GS -0560- 13 position within the FRTIB in the same geographical location with the same qualifications and specialized experience.

    This position will be filled as a TERM Appointment NOT to exceed 2 years, and may be extended in 1 year increments up to a total of 4 years.

    Responsibilities

    The major duties of the position are:

    • Plan and carry out assigned budget and financial analysis functions and responsibilities.
    • Manage, analyze and evaluate vital Agency budget and financial programs and operations that have a profound impact on the Agency and consequent impact on millions of participants and potential participants worldwide.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to management officials in planning, analyzing, and managing the budget and financial operations.
    • Develop effective analytical and process management tools to maintain the stability and strength of the Agency's budget and financial infrastructure.
