    The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional audit services covering broad organizational and system programs. Assignments require problem definition analysis, planning, coordination, and problem resolution involving a number of organizational entities/work processes; result in an assessment of the overall management of AF programs and functions.

    • Plans highly complex audits covering broadly related and highly complex functions of a large multi-mission activity and develops the audit program to be applied by auditors at various locations selected for review.
    • Provides technical expertise and assistance to field auditors during the application phase of highly complex audits.
    • Prepares summary audit reports, which present Air Force-wide findings, causes, and effects and cite applicable regulations.
    • Performs other assigned tasks and special projects. Provides technical advice and assistance in areas of broad scope and mission impact.
    • Supports AFAA and Air Force quality management initiatives.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Work may require extensive travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
