    About the Position:
    You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant in a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). Incumbent of this position provides administrative support to the Reception-Administration Control Desk (RACD), Record Maintenance and Accountability, and Enlistment Processing to include fingerprinting of applicants. This work involves the execution of specific set of rules as defined by USMEPCOM regulations and by individual service (recruitment) requirements.

    • Greet and account for visitors/applicants.
    • Fingerprint applicants using automated systems, ensuring fingerprints are classifiable (acceptable).
    • Transfer records to accommodate applicant movement within the Command.
    • Execute/monitor applicant sponsorship to ensure data security.
    • Assemble enlistment documents in accordance with specific service requirements.
    • Perform Quality Review/quality control of applicant records, packets and forms.
    • Determine types of orders required and extrapolates pertinent information from enlistment documents.
    • Maintain records of all orders, distribute copies of transportation orders and enlistment contracts.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Business travel requirement at 10%.
