    About the Position: Serve as a natural resources management staff specialist at a large water resource development project with greater than ten thousand acres of land and water, or at several smaller projects that are collectively similar in size to a large Corps lake.

    • Develops guidelines and standard operating procedures.
    • Manages habitat and projects supporting fish and wildlife resources.
    • Acts as chief advisor to the resource manager concerning natural resource conservation matters.
    • Oversees the conservation, preservation restoration and use of all project natural and cultural resources.
    • Oversees the project's shoreline management program, which includes permits for activities on public land surrounding the lake (including floating dock and mowing/underbrushing permits), and minor real estate licenses and easements.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Business travel required 10% of the time.
