    Summary

    You will serve as a SCIENTIST in the INFORMATION OPERATIONS DIVISION of SPAWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

    NOTE: The salary range includes 27.88% locality pay established for this geographic location.

    Responsibilities

    • You will serve as a Scientist in the Information Operations Division, I/O Analytical Tools Branch.
    • You will analyses and determine operational needs to develop system functional requirements, system architectures, allocates requirements among sub-systems, manages design of subsystems, and ensure final design is correctly integrated.
    • You will develop and analysis of web and database programs for execution in data dissemination applications/systems.
    • You will calculate feasibility of design principles and software standards proposed for Service-Oriented Architecture based systems.
    • You will develop and validate processes for systems engineering plans, technology readiness assessments and other engineering processes to produce course of action to solve systems engineering programs and process improvement.
    • You will develop and evaluate development of programming algorithms or syntaxes utilizing software programming languages such as ATLAB, VB.Net, Pascal, Java, SQL, C, C++, C%, Embedded C, and Objective C.
    • You will prepare and review documents relevant to system requirements, analysis test plans and strategy, modification, and integration of new capabilities.
    • You will support incremental development utilizing Agile software processes.
