    About the Position: Serves as the budget analyst within the Washington D.C. detachment.This position is located in Washington, DC, the Nation's Capital, surrounded with free museums, award-winning restaurants and historical monuments.

    • Serves as a Budget Analyst, Command Detachment Washington Office, with responsibility for planning, programming, budgeting, coordinating, consolidating, evaluating and controlling the budget.
    • Budget submissions will encompass the Command Budget Estimate Submission for Operation and Maintenance, Defense Agencies, and may include Procurement, and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDTE).
    • Provides expert advice and guidance on the interpretation of congressional legislation/regulatory directives for the formulation and justification of the RDTE, and/or Military Construction, and Operations and Maintenance procurement programs.
    • Prepares and publishes Program Budget Guidance for funds provided to the Command and its subordinate units.
    • Reviews and analyzes budget input from all supporting organizations
    • Conducts staff visits to organizations to resolve budget formulation/guidance problems and/or provide assistance in funding matters concerning all appropriations.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position up to 5%
