    You will serve as a IT Specialist (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) in the Information Technology and Communication Services (ITACS) Department of BUREAU OF MEDICINE.

    • You will serve as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) accountable for planning and managing all IM/IT resources and activities to support Navy Medicine, BUMED and other commands in the Area of Responsibility (AOR)
    • You will be responsible for aligning all IM/IT resources and activities with the commands mission, goals, and strategic direction
    • You will serve as a senior expert or consultant for the command, analyzing and resolving difficult policy and planning issues, conducting special studies, and making recommendations on approaches for delivering services
    • You will oversee the security posture for one or more systems throughout the entire lifecycle by providing continuous monitoring through scheduled audits, control testing, and audit reviews

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) or relocation incentives as described in 5 USC 5753 may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations.
