    Summary

    You will serve as a CIVIL ENGINEER in the FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND ACQUISITION DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

    Responsibilities

    • You will prepare outlines of services, scopes of work, construction estimates, or engineering fee estimates for work to be performed under Architect-Engineer contracts.
    • You will investigate construction to identify major problems and initiate corrective actions.
    • You will manage engineering projects to ensure completion and technical requirements are met.
    • You will collaborate with project developers on contracting needs for energy projects (e.g., Statement of Work, Request for Proposals, and Government Cost Estimates).
    • You will discuss architectural and engineering technical matters with management officials, head-quarters, contractors, and staff members in a meeting and conference.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position. Travel is dependent upon position description and the availability of command funding.
