    This position is located in the United States Mint, Human Capital Directorate located in Washington, D.C.

    The Human Capital Directorate (HCD), United States Mint is responsible for ensuring policies and programs that result in fair, consistent, efficient and effective workforce management. The Department executes its responsibilities through three functional areas: Management and Change Leadership, Human Resources Operations, and Human Capital Strategies.

    As a Deputy Director of Human Capital, you will:

    • Develop and execute HCD departmental annual work plans, five-year Strategic Human Capital Plan, and Key Success Measures.
    • Implement and execute world class human resources, human capital, plans, policies, strategies, and processes.
    • Provide leadership and oversight in the management of Human Resource services in headquarters and at the four United States Mint plant facilities, ensuring consistent, sound human resource policies and operations for the entire bureau.
    • Advise supervisors and managers on the merit system, ensuring a strong, fair human resources programs.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - 1 to 5 nights per month
