    The Charles George VAMC has an immediate opening for five (5) Housekeeping Aids within our Facility Management Service.

    Responsibilities

    Duties include but are not limited to the following:

    • The employee will clean and maintain various kinds of floor, wall, carpet, and ceiling surfaces such as wood and linoleum. Removes stains from a variety of surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
    • Operates powered cleaning equipment such as wall washers, industrial-type buffers, vacuums, and auto floor scrubbers. Adjusts and performs minor maintenance on such equipment.
    • Occasionally works on ladders and scaffolds to clean ceiling fixtures, wash walls, replace light bulbs, moving of furniture and perform similar
    Work schedule: Rotating schedules to be determined by service, may include, weekends and holidays.
