    Summary

    This position is located in the Office of Program Performance, Analysis, and Evaluation (OPPAE) within the Office of Performance Management and the Chief Financial Officer and reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Associate Administrator for Performance Management (CFO). The OPPAE provides strategic direction and policy oversight for SBA's strategic planning, performance management, program evaluation, program and project management, and economic and regulatory impact analysis functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as the technical advisor on SBA program performance and efficiency through effective program management, execution, goal development, and data integrity in the development of the Agency's Strategic Plan, performance reports and dashboards.
    • Ensures Agency compliance with management-related laws and executive orders.
    • Oversees the Agency's economic and regulatory impact analysis and advising program managers on types of analysis to conduct to support cost-effective regulations.
    • Sets critical process improvements on key initiatives that result in significant improvements in service delivery, reduced operational unit costs, increased quality, and reduced cycle time.
    • Identifies problem areas and determine appropriate action required to improve program effectiveness, cross-office collaboration and maintain integrity of the Agency's financial and performance information through data quality records and verification
    • Builds program and project management and data analytic capacity through tools, best practices, policies and community of practice.
