As a Toolmaker Leader , you will:
- Provide on-going leadership responsibilities to include assigns work to toolmakers & steel die engravers in accordance with workloads established by Supervision.
- Drive the practice of continuous improvement through the use of multiple lean-manufacturing techniques and by the daily monitoring of process data resulting in the generation and execution of frequent minor improvements.
- Conduct events and reports results of events to include cost savings, process change outcomes and improvements to metrics.
- Show resulting progress in terms of moving the organization incrementally closer to the vision reflected in the future-state map and provides information required to re-draw a new current-state map.
Physical Requirements: Duties will require moderate physical exertion, including prolonged periods of standing on concrete floors, stooping, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The leader is subject to extensive use of delicate optical instruments, magnifying glasses, and other types of inspection equipment.
