    • Selects and sprays area with herbicides, fungicides and insecticides for the control of plant diseases, plant insects, and weeds.
    • Cuts grass and trims hedges using hand and/or power equipment.
    • May operate various types of motor vehicles and farm-type tractors with attached equipment to transport supplies and materials to work sites and in the performance of the incumbent's duties.
    • Prunes and trims trees and shrubs and removes diseased limbs and excess branches.
    • Transplants trees, shrubs, flowers and other plants by digging proper sized holes and preparing the soil to receive the plants.
    • Fertilizes, waters, and seeds turf areas, and removes rocks, leaves, trash and debris from landscaped areas.
