    A successful candidate in this position will…

    • Serve as a Program Manager within the Office of Program Integration and Logistics Operations, Office of Logistics and Facility Operations.
    • Provide professional advice and counsel in connection with alterations, repair and renovations to the physical facilities to accommodate increase or changing facility usage patterns, design and construction oversight of capital improvement projects and property acquisition and services.

    Responsibilities

    As a Facilities Project Manager, you will:

    • Serve as a Project Manager responsible for overall management control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects related to alterations and repair, renovations, space management, equipment installation, personal property acquisition, etc.
    • Assure conformance with established project plans and procedures; determine what needs to be done, analyze and investigate changes in resources or completion dates and coordinate the resolution of problems relative to inadequate or conflicting data.  
    • Coordinate the planning, design, cost, etc., for projects of substantial scope and complexity measured by the diversity, geographic area, management demands, technical intricacies and public issues.
    • Serves as the point-of-contact for projects with sponsor/customer; Federal, state and local government agencies, external organizations and higher authorities.
