    The position serves as an entomologist performing research on vectors borne diseases disease outbreaks, vector borne disease ecology and epidemiology.

    • Analyze, evaluate and develop solutions for complex entomological problems.
    • Define objectives, assess team members progress, collect data and report results.
    • Conduct complex studies or evaluations involving a number of biological and environmental variables, in the area of vector-borne viruses.
    • Consult on entomology issues; design surveillance and control programs and contingency plans for installations where diseases are endemic.
    • Incorporate and evaluate innovative and traditional vector control tools.
    • Participate in professional meetings and conferences and provides training for lower graded professionals.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position up to 5% Domestic.
