    Responsibilities

    This position plays an integral part in the Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) program for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, New York. As a Sharp Specialist, you will be responsible for:

    • Assisting Program Manager with coordination and oversight of the SHARP Program implementation at West Point, New York to provide services for authorized beneficiaries of the SHARP program.
    • Assisting in the development of SHARP annual budget, to include forecasting and expenditures reports; leveraging all available resources to provide for personnel, training aids, resources, and external training resources to provide relevant, targeted prevention programming.
    • Conducting Assessments and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) analyses that form the basis for action plans, implementation plans, and program plan development activities.
    • Evaluating and recommending programmatic adjustment of activities that are not yielding sufficient outcomes.
    • Supporting in the development and delivery of annual sexual assault and sexual harassment faculty development training.
    • Planning, coordinating, and administering community-wide SHARP projects and training events.
    • Serving as a Victim Advocate, as needed.
    • Ensuring maintenance of USMA's 24/7 sexual assault response capability.
