The incumbent serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the DNFSB and is responsible for overseeing the information technology functions that support the mission of the DNFSB. These functions include the development, delivery, and management of a wide range of information products and services including applications, security, networking, and telecommunications technologies.
As the CIO, the incumbent is responsible for all planning, policy, and program activities related to information technology (IT) throughout the DNFSB. The incumbent oversees the full range of information technology functions ranging from application and integration to network design and operations. Also, the incumbent is heavily involved in strategic planning and integration requiring extensive research, coordination, facilitation, and professional relationship building. The incumbent advances DNFSB's mission by assisting senior leaders in recognizing where IT can add value, and developing and implementing supporting programs and initiatives.
