    Summary

    As a Supervisory General Engineer, GS-0801-15, you will serve as the Deputy Director to the Director in the Division of Facilities Stewardship (DFS) and collaborate in the planning and management of a comprehensive facilities stewardship program involving NIH facilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and expertise in providing stewardship of all NIH real property assets to ensure long-term effectiveness.
    • Oversee and manage the development and drafting of Division policies and procedures in collaboration with the DFS Director.
    • Provide advanced engineering expertise and authoritative technical advice and guidance to senior DFS, ORF, and NIH officials.
    • Lead and coordinate analyses, studies, and initiatives involving various aspects of the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of NIH buildings, facilities, and services.
    • Oversee and manage the development of the ORF communications strategy.
    • Collaborate with the DFS Director in providing leadership and technical and administrative supervision to a large staff of professional, technical, administrative, support personnel, professional consultants, and contractors.
