As a Budget Analyst, GS-0560-11, you will:
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED:
This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement. Selectee will have one (1) year to obtain the required AFSC.
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a Financial Management Level Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with requirements of this certification program. As a condition of continued employment, the Selectee must complete the required higher financial management certification within 24 months of appointment to the position.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTORS: To obtain the required AFSC, acceptance of this position requires a minimum ASVAB Score of 57 in General area. ASVAB scores will not be required to apply for the position, however applicants must obtain required ASVAB scores prior to acceptance of the position. The applicant must verify their scores with their Military Personnel Flight/Military Personnel Office.
FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
IF USING EDUCATION TO QUALIFY: You MUST provide transcripts to support your educational claims. Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
If you are not in the New Jersey Air National Guard, a Bachelor's Degree will be required to enlist as an SrA/E-4.
