    Responsibilities

    As a GS-1530-15 Statistican, your typical work assignments may include:

    • Oversees and supervises all aspects of data ingest and data processing for immigration-related data.
    • Uses technical abilities to identify data quality issues, develop solutions, and test for validity in preparation for final production datasets.
    • Programs to clean, verify, and analyze large volumes of data using programming/query languages such as SAS, SQL, and customized programming scripts in the performance of the data processing work.
    • Develops written procedures for the processing, compilation, editing, analysis, and reporting of statistical data.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
