    You will serve as a Utility Systems Operator in the Utilities Energy Management Branch of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH assigned to the Public Works Department at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.

    • You will start, operate, adjust, and stop single or multiple fuel power boilers fueled by natural gas, fuel oil or a combination of fuesl and auxiliary pollution control equipment in high temperature hot water or steam plant.
    • You will perform various routine and emergency operational and preventative mainteneace on boiler, chiller, auxiliary and pollution control equipment.
    • You will collect water samples and tests high temperature hot water, water softeners, feed water, chilled water, condenser water and condensate using standard chemical tests.
    • You will obeserve flow meters and charts to determine and record how much high temperature and chilled water is being produced.
