    Some of the major duties of the position are:

    Apply casts for treatment in connection with general structural deformities, such as severe contractions, cerebral palsy, and scoliosis.
    Review cast applications to insure cast is comfortable
    Assist in the application, removal, and reapplication of immediate post-surgery prosthesis.
    Assist podiatrist with diabetic and other foot care procedures.
    Keep cast room, Orthopedic Equipment Room and procedure areas clean and orderly.
    Maintain patients' records.
    Train patient on post-surgery prosthesis device.
    Perform patient care procedures such as collection of specimens, applying dressings, adjusting simple supportive equipment.

    Work Schedule: 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
