    You will serve as the Director of Finance and Comptroller in the Navy Systems Management Activity providing strategic leadership, comprehensive and authoritative financial management support and services for the organization.

    • You will serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with responsibility for ensuring the Organization's compliance with the CFO Act of 1990 and subsequent legislation pertaining to financial reporting.
    • You will directly impact the Department of the Navy (DON) and Department's ability to produce auditable financial statements - - which is a top priority.
    • You will direct development and implementation of all policies and procedures as they relate to end-to-end financial management, accounting, funds control and disbursements.
    • You will plan, monitor and approve accounting and disbursing system changes for the execution of assigned funds to verify process compliance and ensure alignment with standard accounting policies, principles, practices and standards.
    • You will ensure CFO compliance to include publishing auditable financial statements on behalf of the DON.
    • You will serve as the Organization's key spokesperson and recognized authority for budgeting, financial management, community competency and core business practices matters with Federal and other Executive agencies, and Congress.
    • You will serve as the Organization's Chief Executive for Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) efforts.
