About the Position:
Acquisition Demonstration Project position: The NH-04 broadband incorporates former GS-14 step 1 through GS-15 step 10 grade levels and salary levels. Pay increase within the band will be accomplished through the Contribution-based Compensation and Appraisal System (CCAS).Info about the AcqDemo can be found at http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/ops/acqdemo.html. AEC uses salary control points within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $149,824.
Serves as an integrated suitability evaluator, performing a broad range of analyses for assigned systems and in support of Army Acquisition to include but is not limited to: Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) - conducts RAM planning, analysis and evaluation, to include reliability growth, and appropriate statistical and reliability engineering methods; implements RAM policy, standards, methodology and tools. Conducts Integrated Product Support (IPS) planning,analysis and evaluations in accordance with regulations. IPS includes sustainment; supply support; maintenance planning & management; packaging, handling, storage and transportation; technical data; support equipment; training & training support; manpower & personnel; facilities and infrastructure; and computer resources. Employs research techniques in support of assigned analyses/evaluations; keeps abreast of developments in evaluation methodologies, systems analysis, and combat and training developments, with particular emphasis on areas relevant to assigned responsibilities. Studies current technical publications and reports, attends professional symposia and maintains professional correspondence.
