    • Serves as the Sustainable Engineering Program Manager (SEPM) and the technical expert for Sustainable Design and Development (SDD) for the Japan District.
    • Identifies and promotes Sustainable Engineering (SE) opportunities for the military programs such areas as renewable resources (e.g., wind, solar and thermal energy, and hydropower), vertical and horizontal design and construction, and energy and water conservation.
    • Maintains accountability for the overall management of the Japan District Sustainable Engineering (SE) program.
    • Ensures proper planning and execution of Sustainable Engineering (SE) initiatives for projects.
