The Engineering Division executes all aspects related to the study and design phases of Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) projects in programs including Superfund, Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP), and Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), working in compliance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and other applicable Federal and State regulations.Learn more about this agency
- Serve as a technical authority in human health risk assessment for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New England District.
- Provide complete and current human health risk assessment expertise in accordance with Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Defense and Department of the Army guidelines and regulations.
- Develop procedures and technical documents regarding toxicology/risk assessments for hazardous and toxic waste site activities.
25% or less - Overnight business travel required at least 20% of the time.
