    About the Position: You will serve as Chief, Geo-Environmental Section, and the District's principal specialist within this engineering discipline. This position is responsible for foundation investigation analysis and studies in foundation design, geology, soil mechanics, etc., for a civil works and military construction program and its coordination with higher level specialists.

    • Supervise the Geo-Environmental section.
    • Direct the design of all geo-environmental elements of projects.
    • Write final reports concerning investigations of geo-environmental elements to determine suitability for their use in engineering construction.
    • Oversee all types of engineering projects involving Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Wastes or civil and military projects.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
