    Summary

    The instructional area for this position is Music, Instruments, Culinary, and Dance.
    This is a flexible position. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or an as-needed basis, between 0 and 40 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as an Instructor in the CYS Instructional Program and provides individual and/or group lessons to participants.
    • Tracks participant's accomplishments, long and short term goals, effort, and evaluations as appropriate for age and type of instruction.
    • Implements changes and adjustments to instructional program and plans to meet unusual situations associated with the needs of individual children and youth.
    • Works under the written and verbal direction of the supervisor, who provides guidance on scope of assignments and assistance on the more complex, non-routine problems encountered.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Minimal travel may be required for training purposes, local to the installation.
