    A Recruitment/Relocation Incentive may be authorized to highly qualified individuals.

    The incumbent for this position may be eligible to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program, depending on the type of employment, schedule, amount/type of qualifying debt, and funding availability.     Responsibilities

    An opportunity exists for up to a full-time Cardiologist at the Milo C. Huempfner Outpatient Clinic, located in Green Bay, WI. Part-time appointments with the VA will be considered. The Milo C. Huempfner Outpatient Clinic is a new 162,000 square foot VA primary care and multi-specialty clinic located in Green Bay.

    Green Bay, Wisconsin, located in Brown County, has a population of 105,809 (2011). It is home to Lambeau Field, Green Bay Botanical Gardens, Bay Beach Amusement Park, New Zoo, Oneida Bingo and Casino, and a full array of restaurants, shopping, golf courses, parks, and more. Exceptional colleges, high schools, and middle/grade schools combined with a family-friendly community make Green Bay a great place to live.

    The successful candidate should be comfortable performing all aspects of adult cardiology, including outpatient evaluations/treatment, stress testing, and holter monitoring. The selected physician will provide consulting services to other staff members, as well as more comprehensive care to select patients with complicated cardiac conditions. All care will be provided in an outpatient setting only with no inpatient care responsibilities. This position does not include cardiac catheterization responsibilities. Qualified candidates should be BE/BC in Cardiology. The selected candidate should demonstrate the ability to work well with a large, diverse and dedicated patient care staff.

    Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
