The Division of Registration and Loans (DR) is responsible for creating, maintaining and updating records on all works of art owned by or entrusted to the care of the Gallery, and for the location, condition, safety and movement of these works. The primary purpose of this position is to execute art movement projects for all works under the jurisdiction of the Gallery.

The incumbent:
Your resume serves as the basis for qualification determinations and must highlight your most relevant and significant work experience and education (if applicable) as it relates to this job opportunity. Physical Requirements: The work requires a large amount of walking and considerable physical exertion, such lifting heavy works of art or crates over fifty pounds, and working under pressure and hardships, such as during adverse weather, with limited art handlers, or with faulty or inadequate equipment or trucks in order to meet established deadlines. Incumbent must also cope with the pressures and demands of always properly handling and safegarding the priceless works of art which are entrusted to them. Must be able to work overtime and on holidays, occasionally on short notice. Must also be able to ride for long periods in Gallery or commercial vehicles while escorting works of art.
