    This position requires the incumbent to assist students, peers, and subordinates in understanding the relevance of, and promotes the development of positive social skills among students through modeling appropriate behavior, positive intervention, and positively intervening and teaching appropriate employability skills for workplace success.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for providing technical support work involving WAN and LAN security issues, user support and system maintenance; backups; troubleshooting for network connectivity; submitting requests for creating, deleting, and modifying of employee profiles; passwords, login verification; firewall maintenance and virus detection. Responsible for training on user support problem solution related to the areas of software, hardware and data communications; provides verbal and written assistance with various assignments such as data base design, hardware/software acquisition support, imaging, cataloging, indexing, edits, and updating computer databases. Independently researches, analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves operational, software, and equipment problems. Performs project support assignments such as data base design, hardware/software acquisition support, updating computer databases. Conducts research and uses record keeping skills to help maintain a substantial amount of service/project information and data.

    Angell Forest Service Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Yachats, Oregon and Harpers Ferry Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
