    Summary

    You will serve as a ARCHAEOLOGIST in the ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING DIVISION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND PAC.

    Responsibilities

    • You will serve as a subject matter expert in Hawaii and Pacific archaeology to advise customers on compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
    • You will prepare statements of work and government cost estimates for cultural resources services contracts.
    • You will consult with Native Hawaiian Organizations regarding disposition and preparation of Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) agreement documents.
    • You will work with environmental staff members, contractors and customers to identify cultural resources requirements.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
