Facilities Operations Specialist/PD#81049-A
The incumbent performs a variety of administrative services for multiple programs and functions. You will be expected to manage compliance with multiple safety prevention programs to include fire and security. This position coordinates with various Federal Agencies to provide services included but not limited to plumbing, utility, water/sewage treatment, janitorial and elevator. You will also be required to perform inspections ensuring compliance and standards. The incumbent will forecast funding requirements while justifying a budget for facility operations. You will be expected to develop comprehensive maintenance lists that incorporate agreements, orders and maintain continuity. This position requires resolution to customer complaints and requests. Additionally, you will manage operational activities to assure all lease agreements are being met and all equipment is stocked and serviceable. In this role, you will purchase supplies and equipment necessary to maintain facilities. You will be responsible for statements of work, payments and terminations of contract work and monitoring contractor performance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The subject position is primarily of an administrative nature in an office setting, however where travel to work sites is required there may be light physical work required, such as walking over uneven surfaces, or assisting technical personnel in taking measurements or elevations. Government travel for training, meetings, or customer interactions will be required in this position.
