    TERM positions do not convey permanent status in the Federal service and will be for a period not to exceed thirteen months, with possible extensions up to a total of four years without further competition.

    • Conducts on-site investigations of project sites to determine the feasibility of proposed projects.
    • Conducts research involving historical documents, photographs, plans and drawings.
    • Prepares and/or oversees scope of work that clearly define the objectives and requirements of projects for A/E design or documentation services.
    • Performs review and assessment of plans, comprehensive designs, preliminary designs, special studies, and layouts prepared by other agency offices.
    • Prepares documentation of existing conditions and treatment actions.
    • Develops tools and guidelines to help clarify the compliance process.
    • Conducts and coordinates historic and prehistoric structure, documentary research, and professional evaluation of data.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
