Manages the operations, sustainment and maintenance of a full spectrum of Enterprise IT services for the organization. Applies advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices to plan and carry out difficult and complex assignments and develop new methods, approaches, and procedures. Develops and interprets policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of IT services throughout the organization. Provides expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues. Applies regulations, laws, and policies governing IT to the organization's business requirements. Develops performance management plans and performance measurement methods and tools. Serves as a senior expert or consultant to top agency management officials. Responsible for developing and implementing information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices. Supervises subordinate managers and assigned workforce.
If you are using education to qualify - you must submit your transcripts for a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in the following disciplines: Computer science, engineering, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.
