    Summary

    This position is assigned to the Policy and Planning Division, Management Services Office, Office of the Executive Director, Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS/EX/MGT/PPD).  PPD exercises Bureau-wide responsibility for the development and implementation of a framework of policies and guidelines that govern the management and operation of the Bureau.

    The incumbent of this position will be responsible for assessing current and future operations and developing plans for new programs and services.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinates with senior level officers and program managers to foster an innovative, efficient, and effective monitoring and measurement process.
    • Participates in the development and coordination of components of the Bureau's operational and strategic planning, program management, and performance measurement process.
    • Researches, develops and organizes budget justification material and resource displays in support of DS' programs and projects which require expertise in order to analyze trends and programmatic cycles.
    • Evaluates the effectiveness of programs and operations in achieving strategic goals and objectives.
