    These positions are being concurrently announced under Pathways Recent Graduate program as announcement number 19-NCH-ENG-802-45-RG. Current federal employees may apply to both announcements. This position may be filled at the GS-04 or GS-05 grade level with promotion potential to the GS-07/09.

    Responsibilities

    At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.

    Duties listed below are for a GS-0802-05:

    • Assists in the design of roads and related structures such as culverts and retaining walls.
    • Makes computations from tables to estimate road location.  Reviews printouts, cross sections, and profiles; recommends traverses, gradients, culvert locations, and other aspects of the final road design.
    • Compares findings with plans and contract specifications, reporting the results.

    The duty station for these positions will be at one of the duty locations listed in this announcement. Final determination of duty station will be made by the selecting official at the time of job offer. Salary range as shown is the locality pay area of Rest of U.S. (RUS). Pay rates vary depending on location and may be higher or lower than the amount shown.
