    Summary

    This position serves as the Supervisor for the Specialized Device Security Division (SDSD), Enterprise Security Operations. You will participate fully with the System Security Support Director (SSSD) providing oversight, direction and guidance to network and security operations staff within the Office of Information and Technology. The mission of SDSD is to develop, implement and evaluate security solutions to address critical isolation networks, medical devices, and special purpose systems.

    Responsibilities

    The first 50 candidates who applied will be considered for referral to the selecting official. Additional candidates in increments of 50 will be referred based on hiring needs

    • Provide leadership to staff members in the development and operations of the SDSD and other programs associated with critical isolation networks, medical devices, and special purpose systems. Assist in ensuring the alignment of Department wide security objectives in the overall VA planning, programming, and budgeting process.
    • Oversee and lead the SDSD operations and associated services i.e. medical device isolation architecture, vulnerability assessments, compliance.
    • Develop and maintain feasibility studies and performance metrics that assess the return on investment (ROI) and overall efficiency of the SDSD operations.
