    Responsibilities

    • Prepares field sketches of work changes made necessary by unique field conditions and recommends changes in plans.
    • Prepares project plans to include drawings using CADD, recommending means and methods to accomplish work, creating scopes of work for materials and equipment, and making parametric estimates.
    • Plans, supervises, and conducts operating tests of equipment to determine adequacy for proposed uses.
    • Coordinates with contractors and/or Government employees, the installation and testing of mechanical equipment.
    • Plans maintenance projects for various floating plant to include Tug Boats, Crane Barges and small craft.

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
