    About the Position:


    This position is being filled under the Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) for Defense Acquisition Workforce Positions in accordance with 10 USC § 1705(g).

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as project engineer team leader within the section providing technical direction to lower grade employees in the performance of a variety of hydrologic and hydraulic (HH) studies and investigations.
    • Oversees the study, investigation, and development of water resource projects and studies for use in the preparation/presentation of studies, detailed project reports, flood insurance studies, design memoranda, etc., for proposed projects.
    • Develops and coordinates the documentation for A-E contracts on the HH portion of appendices's which covers scope, engineering criteria, and estimates of the cost of work.
    • Determines critical features, time necessary to attain end results, best utilization of personnel available, and degree of applicable guides and techniques available.
