    • Provide leadership and scientific management over CBIIT's biomedical informatics programs supporting clinical and translational research.
    • Manage the work of subordinate staff engaged in developing and implementing clinical and translational biomedical informatics solutions.
    • Represent CBIIT and NCI as a national expert on developments in clinical and translational informatics and associated science policy implications.
    • Evaluate the performance of existing and new clinical and translational informatics activities and initiatives.
    • Serve as a Project Officer in the acquisition and management of contracts involving clinical and translational biomedical informatics.
    • Organize and/or represent NCI and NIH at scientific meetings, symposia, and conferences to ensure that program objectives and developments are related to the needs of the field.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
