    As a Personnel Psychologist, you will develop personnel management programs and/or changes to existing programs in such areas as personnel assessment and evaluation, and performance evaluation.  You will report to the Director, Enterprise Workforce Planning, and serve as a consultant to other Senior OCC Management.

    As a Personnel Psychologist, you will:

    • Research, develop, implement and maintain effective competency-based assessments for selection, promotion, career development and organizational effectiveness within the OCC.

    • Plan, coordinate, and conduct surveys, as well as collect, score, and analyze of data for studies and projects. Identify the need for, and obtain subject matter expert participation and support. Guide study participants in data collection procedures and reporting methods.  Evaluate the analysis of data received, apply methodology of test theory, psychometric and performance measurement, experimental design, descriptive and inferential (including advanced) statistics and other analytic methods characteristic of the behavioral sciences.

    • Evaluate findings and results, make conclusions, prepare formal reports or other documentation and present results and recommendations to the Office of Human Capital and as appropriate, to OCC leadership.  Prepare technical reports and summaries to document research findings and results. Make recommendations as to whether or not to adopt conclusions.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - Travel overnight or locally.
