This position is located in the Office of Engineering, Manufacturing Directorate, in the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). The general engineer is responsible for specifying and implementing high speed equipment in BEP factories for US banknote production. You will be a technical problem solver and play a key role in improving product quality, reducing spoilage, and ensuring production throughput.

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

SUITABILITY, CLEARANCE & REQUIREMENTS: A background investigation will be required for all new hires.
