To qualify at the GS-07 level, applicants must have at least one full-time year (12 months) of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the GS-05 level in the Federal service (or relative to market standards). Specialized experience includes: Assisting in coordinating a project or a program, reviewing budget data to monitor expenditures, handling customer service requests from multiple stakeholders, and effective organizational skills.

Substitution of Education: Superior Academic Achievement – having earned/ completed the requirements for a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, class standing in the upper third of a graduating class or major subdivision, or membership in a national scholastic honor society.

This is a career-ladder developmental position with a full performance level of GS-11. Promotion to the full performance level is not automatic or guaranteed. It is based on the need of work at the higher grade, performance, funding availability, ability to perform higher grade duties and recommendation from your supervisor.
