    The Management Operations Directorate is seeking to develop an intern to perform supply management.

    The Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate is seeking to develop an intern to perform management of supply chain data and information and supply chain analytics.

    Responsibilities

    As a Student Trainee in Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Cost Estimating, Modeling & Analysis Office, you will perform the following duties with guidance from a senior Engineering Cost Analyst:

    You will assist with evaluation of tools, techniques, documentation, and database approaches and work with office leadership to incorporate evolving best practices for developing parametric cost models and retaining an archive of models and cost estimates; participate in the establishment of parametric estimating best practices and supports reviews of cost estimates prepared by incumbent and /or other office cost engineers; assist proposal teams with the creation and development of accurate cost estimates; and assist with archiving proposal cost data in the repository.

    As a Student Trainee in Office of the Management Operations Directorate, Supply & Equipment Branch, you will perform the following duties with guidance from a senior Supply Systems Analyst:

    You will assist the Supply Officer in the review/validation of the quarterly supply inventory; gather data for inventory counts, accuracy rates, and completion percentages; assist with the review, research, and preparation of appropriate documentation to correct inventory balances.

    You will assist the Storage Manager in development and implementation of the Storage Program; receive and process requests for storage of property in the warehouse; maintain oversight of tracking data for Customer?s Storage Requests; track storage out dates and coordinate with Center Customers on storage extensions or removal of property from storage.

    You will maintain and provide status updates on Supply Action Items and coordinate with contractors to obtain status on actions and reports to Supply Officer.

    You will assist Supply Systems Analyst in the transition to the Agency?s Supply Management System (SMS); attend recurring SMS testing events and assist Supply Systems Analyst in developing and tracking action items; coordinate with Supply Systems Analyst and contractor on drafting, and submitting to Supply Officer, proposed enhancements to the Supply Management System.

    As a Student Trainee in the Office of the Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate, Management Systems Branch, you will perform the following duties with guidance from a senior Management/Program Analyst:

    You will assist in the collection, integration and management of supply chain data and information across a portfolio of space flight projects in support of analysis and decision-making; research and fulfill requests for information pertaining to suppliers and associated products / services; support the formulation and review of Supply Chain Research and Analysis reports, including assessing supplier / supply chain data and information to identify market, business, technical and security risks projects for spacecraft, spacecraft instruments/payloads and ground systems; and assist and perform the formulation and production of supply chain analytics, including data visualizations.
