    The Kansas City VA Medical Center is searching a board eligible / board certified Neurologist to provide care in our outpatient clinics.

    Responsibilities

    The position includes a major role in the clinical, administrative and educational programs of the Neurology Section.

    • Provide Neurological care prescribing medication, performing minor procedures, injections, laboratory requests, and seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting
    • Provide guidance to Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students on rotation from the University of Kansas, School of Medicine. Skills needed would be to lead, give direction, and provide knowledge, skills and abilities in the Neurology field
    • Attends hospital assigned committees, section meetings, and other administrative functions as necessary. Works with other physicians on many projects, developing new techniques of evaluation and treatment

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; shared call coverage with Neurologist Staff
