Develop, write, negotiate, and coordinate contracts, amendments, exhibits, and other agreements for the sale, purchase, operation and maintenance, or interchange of electric power, transmission service, and system interconnection or transmission facility modifications. Promote and maintain good customer relations, and obtain required stakeholder information. Develops and reviews power marketing contracts to ensure all contract provisions, processes, and procedures are being followed and documented. Develop, implement, and administer power marketing policy and transmission strategy for both the short-term and the long-term for the marketing of Federal power resources and/or recommend revisions to established criteria. Initiate, review, and analyze various engineering and technical studies auxiliary to the development and implementation of power marketing policy and transmission strategy and recommend proposals.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
GS-11 - Experience serving in power sales, marketing or electric utility customer service, or experience serving as a technical or engineering expert for electric power utility functions, system design review, power system study review, or other technical work related to electric power markets, electric power transmission systems, or other electric utility systems in electric power transmission or generation with involvement in electric power markets. Education cannot be used as a substitute for experience at this grade level.
GS-12 -Experience in the electric power industry and in developing, writing, and coordinating unique/complex power marketing contracts in which there were no contractual precedents or existing policy.
