    This position will allow you to use your experience assisting in assessing management processes to inspect ports that have a major impact on CBP operational functions. This position starts at a salary of $56,233.00 (GS-09, Step 1) to $73,105.00 (GS-09, Step 10) with promotion potential to $126,062 (GS-13, Step 10).     In this position, you will serve as an inspector assessing compliance of organizational processes. Major duties will include:

    • Providing input and monitoring nationwide management inspection protocols intended to assess operational compliance with CBP core programs/operations.
    • Executing and successfully completing management inspections in the most efficient and effective manner.
    • Developing, and conducting in-depth reviews of CBP core process functions to assess operational efficiency and/or compliance.
    • Conducting research on CBP core process issues which necessitates gathering and analyzing extensive amounts of data obtained for a variety of internal and external sources.
    • Prepares accurate and detailed reports, memorandums, briefings and profiles in support of Enterprise Services - Office of Accountability - Management Inspections Division
