Program Support duties comprise 85% and include but are not limited to:
Conducts detailed analyses of the structure and complex functions and work processes of the SAPR program, and makes recommendations for improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of the installation-level SAPR programs and work operations.
Provides support by participating in data collection, research and trend identification, implementing studies and surveys and preparing summaries and reports to illustrate Navy SAPR Program statistics, findings and decisions.
Counsels and advises program managers on methods and procedures, management surveys, management reports, and control techniques.
Drafts memoranda or other documentation.
Recognizes and modifies problems in methodology.
Prepares supporting documentation in the form of spreadsheets, Power Point presentations, databases, word documents for presentations and proposals by higher-level management.
Writes and prepares correspondence, briefs, action documents, routing sheets, and point papers.
Conducts presentations on subject matter related to the work area.
Develops new methods, organizational structures, and management processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SAPR program Navy-wide.
Provides written summaries and prepares written reports, graphs and charts.
Provides support by participating in data collection, research and trend identification, implementing studies and surveys and preparing summaries and reports to illustrate Navy SAPR Program statistics, findings and decisions.
Makes recommendations for improving sexual assault response, as it relates to program implementation.
Uses familiarity with procedural standards and regulations specific to social services areas of research/industry.
Training duties comprise 15% and include but are not limited to:
Prepares and obtains training materials used in sexual assault prevention and response programs.
Reviews, modifies, develops, and implements educational programs and material that have specific and measurable learning objectives and that are timely, relevant, flexible, sustainable, and thoroughly coordinated with SAPR Program Manager.
Delivers educational programs, training, and presentations using a variety of techniques and methods.
Works with region to ensure implementation by Navy Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARC) and/or SAPR Victim Advocates (VA) of sexual assault prevention and response curricula.
Provides feedback to and coordinates with regions on effective implementation of sexual assault prevention and response initiatives.
Reviews, develops, recommends, and monitors measures of effectiveness relating to sexual assault prevention and response capabilities and training to ensure that requirements are executed appropriately and program needs are met.
Provides process improvement recommendations to management.

Knowledge of laws, Department of Defense (DoD) instructions, directives, policies and procedures pertaining to sexual assault response and prevention, preferably in the military milieu.
Knowledge of military systems, communities, and resources available to members, civilians, family members and contractors.
Knowledge of policies and procedures and related interagency relationships for sexual assault victims is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Federal and agency regulations; knowledge of the specific organization's programs and missions, as well as knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, and policies related to sexual assault program/operations area to consider their impact on programs.
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of assigned programs.
Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in the development of new procedures and approaches to identify and resolve significant issues and problems of a unique nature.
Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various resources, to include statistical studies and surveys.
Ability to identify needs, trends, and performance measures to evaluate program effectiveness.
Ability to use data management and reporting systems to collect and organize data drawn from databases.
Ability to compose written reports and material clearly, concisely, and effectively.
Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentations and/or training.
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
