    If selected for this position, you will join our well-respected Civil Division. At the full performance level of this position, typical work assignments will include:

    • Providing a wide range of legal support services to one or more Assistant U.S. Attorneys (AUSA) involved in civil prosecutions and grand jury investigations for federally cognizable cases;
    • Performing specialized legal assistance duties;
    • Analyzing legal decisions;
    • Compiling substantive information on legal subjects;
    • Collecting, analyzing, and evaluating evidence in connection with hearings, appeals, litigation, or advisory services when these assignments require a specialized knowledge of law; and
    • Performing a variety of administrative duties in support of assigned AUSAs.
    Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
